Forgotten an attached file? Gmail reminds you!

gmail_mailbox

Have you ever wrote an email, talking about an attached file, but forgetting to attach it before sending the email? Well, Gmail Labs helps you, as I wrote in the “Forgotten attachment detector” page (under Gmail tutorial). An useful feature… but still imperfect.

In fact, this experimental feature recognizes only I’ve attached and “I have attached”: every other variations will let you send the email without the attachment, without warning you.

It works only for English messages, too - if you write an email in another language, it’s useless.

So, Gmail team, let’s improve this simple but promising feature… Gmail could grow even more! ;)
